Arnaud Martin will answer these questions in detail and discuss the entry into force of the Cyber Resilience Act with you.

With over 20 years of experience as a CISO and compliance officer in large public and private organizations, particularly in the defense sector (he was president of Cyber Made in Belgium for Defense), Michael Raison has had to deal with several crisis management situations in highly regulated environments. He will reveal what goes on behind the scenes on the cyber battlefield and share some key takeaways. Always useful in the current context!

Cyberthreat landscape and incidents

During this talk, Bart Asnot will explain the current threat landscape through the view of Microsoft combined with some real-world use cases on successful cyberattacks in Belgium from initial access to impact. Bart will also share some best practices on how Microsoft has supported and advised their customers during and after the incident.

As an industry-focused cybersecurity expert, Bart has supported companies and organizations across the world. Starting his career as a technical consultant in IT, Bart transitioned into cybersecurity several years ago by combining deep tech knowledge with strategy as cybersecurity is as much a tech play as it has its place in the board room. Today, Bart is National Security Officer in Microsoft Belgium and leading the Cybersecurity architects supporting the organizations in Belgium and Luxembourg.

Resilience and Incident Management

Arwi van der Sluijs, Founder and Managing Director of NFIR, will delve into the critical topic of resilience and incident management. With over 500 cyber incidents managed, Arwi will share his expertise on the real-world impact of cyberattacks, the key lessons learned from these events, and the actionable steps organizations can take to enhance their cybersecurity posture moving forward.

Arwi’s extensive experience spans his previous roles at Canon, KPN, and Ordina, as well as his leadership in founding Digital Investigation and NFIR. His unique combination of technical knowledge and strategic insight allows him to guide organizations through the complexities of cyber incident response, focusing on not only recovering from incidents but also building resilience to future threats.
