Shield VZW is on a mission to bring cybersecurity services to hospitals and to higher education in Belgium. A new initiative from the hospitals in Limburg, together with the University of Hasselt, Shield has the goal to bring all member hospitals together, share resources, and help to attain the necessary expertise to increase cybersecurity and compliance.
Toreon has joined Shield to bring Governance, risk & compliance services, as well as ethical hacking to their members. Our aim is to boost the cybersecurity maturity of all hospitals in the shortest amount of time, while attaining NIS2 compliance. This is a big challenge because all hospitals are ‘Essential entities’.
