Toreon partners with NFIR to bring Incident Response services to its clients in digital development, healthcare and industry.

Press Release

Antwerp, Belgium – Toreon, a leading Belgian cyberconsulting company, is pleased to announce a new partnership with NFIR, a Dutch leader in incident response and digital forensics. This partnership will allow Toreon to offer incident response services and forensics to its clients in Belgium, responding to a strong demand from its client base for help in times of crisis.

A significant step forward

Toreon is a provider of cybersecurity expertise to companies and organizations in Belgium. Its sister company, Data Protection Institute (DPI) has a long tradition in training and guiding Data Protection Officers (DPOs) and has more recently launched the first Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) training program in the Benelux.

“We’re excited to partner with NFIR and offer our clients a complete range of cybersecurity services,” said Wouter Avondstondt, co-founder and VP of solutions at Toreon. “This partnership is a double benefit. First, by working with NFIR’s experienced incident response teams, we can help our clients respond quickly and effectively to cyberattacks, minimizing the damage and getting them back on track as soon as possible.
Second, with regard to the DPOs we train and guide, we will now also be able to help them with the forensics investigations they need in case of a data leak.

Our goal at Toreon is to provide business-driven cyber consulting services that are tailored to our clients’ needs. We help our clients to decrease their exposure to cybercrime, but things can still go wrong. Our clients asked us how we could help them in times of crisis. By partnering with NFIR, we will be able to respond to our clients’ needs with an equally professional service as they are used to from Toreon.

Alex Driesen
CEO Toreon

This partnership is a significant step forward for both Toreon and NFIR, as it allows them to expand their services and better serve clients in Belgium and beyond. As cyber threats continue to evolve and become more sophisticated, it’s essential for companies to have comprehensive cybersecurity strategies in place, and this partnership will help Toreon’s clients do just that.

The joint offering of Toreon and NFIR is made available as of today. Clients can now call on Toreon using the emergency number +3233693396 in case of an IT security incident. Toreon’s experts will take the lead in any event, backed up by NFIR’s technical team in Den Haag. Van der Sluijs:”You can call us when an incident occurs and we will respond as fast as we can. We however strongly advise to get in touch with the Belgian team before anything happens. Preparation is key! It allows our teams to set up everything we need to respond more quickly when a breach occurs, and significantly increases our ability to recover more completely and much faster. With our local team stationed in Antwerp, a 3 hour response time is guaranteed for clients under contract, anywhere in Belgium”

We’re thrilled to partner with Toreon and bring our incident response expertise to clients in Belgium. Our team of over 60 experts responds to crises in midsize to large businesses and government in the Netherlands. We are ready and able to provide Toreon’s clients with the same high-quality services they need to protect their businesses.
