Cyber for Boards
A security newsletter for Board members

With the Cyber for Boards newsletter we want to create awareness with board members and senior management about cyber security.
Every board member that we meet says that cyber security is important. All of them must admit they don’t have a good handle on it.
Current events, such as a ransomware attack close to home, catch the attention. But that focus fades quickly. The uneasy feeling stays.
With this newsletter, we want to help to get a handle on security, to be able to start seeing it as a strategic and enterprise risk management topic that can be addressed.
It is our grand vision to create a common language to discuss security. This will take the form of a business oriented governance model that allow boards and management to discuss cyber security in business terms.
It is not the board member’s responsibility to become a cyber security expert. Cyber security experts such as us have an obligation to discuss our trade in a normal and non-technical way.
